印度補習班大火 學生跳樓驚悚逃生19人喪命
印度西部古吉拉特邦大城蘇拉特，一間商業大樓24日發生大火，由於當時有許多學生，正在裡面的補習班上課，許多人被迫跳窗逃生，這起火災造成至少19名學生死亡，其中有3人是因為跳樓，傷重不治。
大樓另一端冒出濃濃黑煙，這邊有民眾從窗戶爬出，藍衣男子先是雙手拉著吊在窗邊，然後疑似體力不支鬆手墜落，接著又有多人紛紛墜樓，有人則乾脆從窗邊一躍而下，還有人接連跳下，在空中與另一名墜落的人相撞，一起落地。
只有一人爬到下一層樓，站在窗外等待救援。其他人雖然企圖以同樣方式逃生，最後卻都失手落下，甚至有明顯身形嬌小的孩童，看似被拋出窗外，引起下方驚叫連連。
最後只有3人成功爬到三樓外面，由雲梯車救好康限定商品下，印度西部古吉拉特邦大城蘇拉特，一間四層樓高的商業大樓，24日下午發生火災，由於許多學生當時正在裡頭的補習班上課，當局表示，死傷多是14到17歲的未成年人，除了因吸入濃煙遭火吻喪命，還有跳樓逃命的人傷重不治。
印度記者：「當局表示這是一棟違章建築，建築屋主已經逃跑。」
初步調查，起火原因可能是因為電線短路，總理莫迪在網路發文哀悼向傷患致意，也承諾提供家屬最大協助。這是當地一年內第二度有補習班發生嚴重大火，造成學生喪命。當局下令，立刻關閉古吉拉特邦所有補習班，進行消防檢查，要避免再有類似悲劇發生。

這場在Club de Golf Valderrama（瓦德拉馬高爾夫俱樂部）進行的歐巡「例行賽」封關戰，受到連日惡劣天候的影響，不但原本的七十二洞賽程縮短為五十四桿，還得延至週一才會落幕。
2011和2017年兩度封王的賽事主人賈西亞，靠著週六的第二回合狂飆六十四桿，取得領先四桿挑戰三連霸（期間比賽停辦）的優勢，不過週日只打了七洞，其中第四洞博蒂，第五洞柏忌，原封不動在低於標準桿十桿，領先差距縮小至三桿。
現年三十八歲的賈西亞，今年截至目前為止僅僅在季初贏得日、亞巡賽共站的SMBC Singapore Open（新加坡公開賽），世界排名一路下滑至目前的三十一位，但本週有機會再次帶走自己主辦的比賽。
英格蘭名將Lee Westwood（李•威斯伍德）成為這一天表現最強悍的選手之下，八洞抓下了四記博蒂，成績翻揚至低於標準桿七桿，明天還有十洞可以追趕賈西亞。
和威斯伍德同樣從低於標準桿三桿出發的愛爾蘭選手Shane Lowry（山恩•羅瑞）則追回了三桿，面臨一百一十六強壓力之戰的西班牙選手Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano（岡薩羅•卡斯丹諾）進帳兩桿，兩人同樣打了八洞，同以低於標準桿六桿並列第三，芬蘭選手Mikko Korhonen（米可•柯霍隆）以一桿之差名列第五。
